In Stefano Lotumolo's life path, the encounter with photography marked a point of no return. He broke the banks and irreversibly subverted the value order of things, until it became his most natural condition for living the world and feeling his own soul.

On the occasion of the 17th PHOTOFESTIVAL MILANO, Stefano Lotumolo will expose in two iconic places: at the “7.24x0.26 Pier Giuseppe Moroni Gallery” in Via San Pietro all’Orto and at the STRAFhotel&bar, near the Duomo.

Pier Giuseppe Moroni, Wella Artistic Director, Direttore Artistico Wella, passionate about beauty and promoter of exhibitions and events on every artistic form of beauty, hosts the exhibition “Sul sentiero del bene” in the “7.24x0.26 Pier Giuseppe Moroni Gallery”.

The exhibition consists of a selection of Maasai photographs, images capable of entering the visitor's soul in such a natural, direct and profound way that they reproduce universal emotions and moods in the viewer, feeling part of the same humanity. The exhibition is curated and set up by Linda Zanolla.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Wednesday, 5 October 2022 from 6.30 pm at the "7.24x0.26 Pier Giuseppe Moroni Gallery" and will remain open until 5 November 2022 with the following times: from Tuesday to Saturday 9.30-18.00 closed on Sunday and Monday . Free admission.

The proceeds from the sale of the photos edited with the press number and signature of the author, will be entirely donated to the Radici Globali Aps Ets association to finance the construction of wells in the Maasai villages in northern Tanzania at the foot of Mount Meru, in collaboration with Epsilon Onlus.

The second part of Stefano Lotumolo's photographic journey - MYANMAR - with a selection of images taken in this territory that develops between China and northern India, is hosted at the STRAFhotel & bar, a few steps from the Duomo.

STRAFhotel & bar, in the center of Milan, was born as an installation, a new concept of hospitality, characterized by a welcoming, attentive and at the same time informal service. Architect Vincenzo De Cotiis used unusual materials for the hotel, recycling objects and experimenting with the surrounding environment, creating an interior design far from the standards of the hotel industry.

The exhibition will be open to the public from October 5th to 31st, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The works on display will be available for purchase and the proceeds entirely donated to the In-Vita ets association. This association was born in 2007 from the encounter between a vision and an enthusiasm. The vision is that of "Vieux", Malian of origin, the enthusiasm is that of Daniela Bertazzoni, a courageous and charismatic woman. The Grand Hotel et de Milan and the STRAFhotel&bar have been among the main supporters of In-Vita since its foundation and are involved in helping to organize fundraising events for the construction of water wells, for schooling and micro-credit in extremely poor villages in the pre-desert areas of Mali. www.in-vita.org.
