STRAF is the acronym of ST RAPHAEL (SanRaffaele), the name of the street in which it stands.

The Catholic and Orthodox churches recognise the archangelRaffaeleas the patron protector of travellers; in Mediaeval times, young people leaving home for the first time placed themselves under his protection.

Our STRAF happened to come into being in this very street.

To tell you about STRAF we have to go back to its inception, the thoughts, ideas and feelings of all those taking part in the project from the outset. Ideas and feelings not just realised in the architect and interior designer Vincenzo De Cotiis’ plan and design but which are the lead-in cable and the drive for the whole development of our service and activity.

Hospitality not just in principle, but there in every activity and at every moment.

Run by a family and its indispensable staff, STRAF offers an attentive and personalised service, but in no way formal.
